Where We're Going: Activities Visions for Clarendon is a community organization, and believes in sharing with the community and building community spirit. In August of 2001, Visions for Clarendon, along with the City of Clarendon, sponsored a community cookout at the Delta Acres Community Center in the apartment complex. The cookout was well attended with over 60 people attending to eat, socialize, and learn through speaker Willette Romious from the Delta CDC.
In December 2001, Visions for Clarendon held a Christmas party for the community children, also at the Delta Acres Community Center. Santa was on hand to listen to children's wishes, and kids were able to work on crafts, eat snacks, and sing Christmas carols.
Visions for Clarendon will to continue to offer community activities. If an organization would like assistance with a project, locating grant funds, or technical assistance, please come to a Visions for Clarendon Board meeting and talk to the group.
